For 20 years, Skate Pass has empowered millions of children in schools across the world. Now, for the first time, we're bringing our trusted programs to kids online.
We're inviting a select group of children, ages 9-13 years old, to be the first to experience our online course, The Real You. This course consists of 4 classes that run over two weeks (Jan 13th- Jan 20th 2026), and is taught by Certified Skate Pass Instructor, Daizsha Deherrera. The course teaches a state-of-mind, no equipment is required.

Meet Your Instructor
Daizsha Camile Deherrera
The program is led by Daizsha Deherrera. As a Skate Pass Certified Instructor, Daizsha brings a unique blend of experience and creativity to every session. Her qualifications include:
• Over 6 years of experience as a special education mentor in Aurora Public Schools.
• A unique teaching approach that uses creative exercises like origami, bead bracelets, and vision boards to help students build trust and explore their personal style.
• Daizsha is an avid skateboarder, local jazz singer, and always adds a unique spark to her classes.

About Skate Pass.
Is this class a good fit for my child?
This class: The Real You. is designed for children aged 9-13, especially those who are curious, emotionally sensitive, or shy. It's also a perfect outlet for energetic kids, helping them channel that energy creatively. The curriculum focuses on building confidence and resilience in a fun, non-traditional way. If you're looking for a program that supports social and emotional learning, this is it.
Where do the classes take place?
The classes take place 100% online via Zoom. After you enroll, you will receive a unique link to join ahead of each live session.
Do we need a skateboard or any special equipment?
No, you do not need any equipment. This online course is designed for the home and focuses on teaching a skateboarding state-of-mind through guided lessons and creative exercises, not physical skateboarding. Parent support materials will also be provided to help you continue the conversation at home.
Are the instructors qualified and background-checked?
Absolutely. Your child's safety and support are our top priorities. Every Certified Skate Pass Instructor (CSPI) is trained to teach our proven system. They are pre-screened for school-associated instruction, have prior teaching experience, and share a deep love for empowering kids through skateboarding.
What is the schedule for the pilot program?
The Real You program consists of four 45-minute classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays over two consecutive weeks. The schedule is:
